Position: Drafter 1 - Substation

SUMMARY

This is an entry level position which requires an individual to have an interest and/or ability to create engineering and standard drawings for Substation Design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare substation physical related drawings such as site plan and elevation views, control building details, grading plans, foundation details, grounding and conduit plans, and other related drawings, geometrical, and minor engineering computations.
  • Prepare protection and control related drawings such as plan and single line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and other related drawings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Generally routine, established precedents; practices and procedures exist.
