Intervention Radiology Tech Full Time Days

• Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
• Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
• Assess patient condition, operate imaging equipment, prepare examination rooms, and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary.
• Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs; rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology including OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma.
• Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Education

Required:

Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
Preferred:
Associate’s degree

Experience

Required:

2-5 years of X-ray experience
Preferred: 1-3 years IR experience

Certifications

Required:

ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, BLS, state license if required
