Job OverviewThe Vice President of Talent Management is responsible for designing and executing talent strategies that align with the organization’s vision to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in wealth management. This role blends thought leadership with execution, focusing on enterprise‑wide initiatives to enhance processes and programs that build strong leadership pipelines and foster internal mobility.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement talent management strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives and support talent acquisition, retention, development, and internal mobility.
- Design career mobility frameworks and programs that enable seamless internal career transitions, including rotational assignments, cohort programs, and mobility pathways, in collaboration with business incubation teams.
- Develop and maintain retention and succession programs, partnering with VP Talent Performance Management to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified internal candidates for critical roles.
- Collaborate to develop onboarding and development experiences tailored for senior executives (SVP and above) to accelerate integration, cultural alignment, and readiness for strategic impact.
- Partner on the design and implementation of talent reviews for senior leadership to build an internal bench of top talent.
- Deliver or partner to deliver training and development programs that enhance workforce capabilities, including executive development programs, leadership cohorts, and HRBP upskilling initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to build high‑performing leadership teams, including designing and facilitating SVP+ offsites and partnering with HRBPs to strengthen team effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain data to inform talent management systems and processes, leveraging analytics to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners and business leaders to drive talent initiatives that support strategic priorities.
- Maintain and execute performance management systems and standards in partnership with talent management colleagues.
- Ensure alignment of inclusion, belonging, and culture as key drivers of talent management strategies.
- Introduce innovative practices that enhance organizational impact, increase efficiency, and strengthen talent pipelines and employee experience.
- 10+ years of broad HR experience, including talent development, talent management, and performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise‑wide talent programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing metrics, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.
- Ability to design collateral and communications for strategies, processes, and change management.
- Proven track record in talent management execution: leadership development, succession planning, change management, and program delivery.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- AI and technology skills for automation and innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and leadership capabilities.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong proofreading skills.
$121,425‑$202,375 per year
