Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Lead QA Resource to lead enterprise-wide quality assurance for platform governance, security automation, and compliance initiatives. Focus on establishing a QA Center of Excellence, implementing comprehensive testing frameworks for security implementations, and ensuring quality validation across all Snowflake platform management activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish QA Center of Excellence framework and testing standards for platform governance
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for audit finding remediation including Cyber Ark integration
- Develop testing strategies for Dynamic Data Masking policies and Protegrity tokenization validation
- Create test frameworks for Dynamic Data Classification and credential protection systems
- Validate automated service account credential rotation processes
- Collaborate with Service Now and IIQ teams to validate automated user provisioning workflows
- Design and execute API testing for Snowflake integrations with Service Now andIIQ systems
- Validate complete user access provisioning and infrastructure deployment automation across all environments
- Test and validate Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) processes and documentation
- Establish comprehensive testing protocols for resource monitoring and alerting systems
- Lead thorough testing of all ETL/ELT processes post-security implementations
- Design and execute comprehensive data integrity validation across all security frameworks
- Conduct quality assurance for Snowflake use case inventory accuracy and ownership alignment
- Validate compliance with audit requirements and regulatory standards
Required Technical Expertise
Snowflake Platform Testing – Advanced testing methodologies for Snowflake administration, Dynamic Data Masking/Classification validation, RBAC testing, API testing, monitoring and alerting validation
Security & Identity Management Testing – Cyber Ark PAM integration testing, Protegrity tokenization validation, AWS Secrets Manager/Conjur Vault testing, SailPoint IIQ/Identity Now testing, automated credential rotation validation
Automation & Dev Ops Testing – Infrastructure as Code testing (Terraform/Cloud Formation), CI/CD pipeline validation, Service Now workflow testing, API automation testing using Python/Power Shell
Required Experience
- 8+ years enterprise data platform quality assurance experience
- 5+ years hands-on Snowflake testing, security validation, and platform QA
- 3+ years implementing enterprise security and governance testing frameworks
- 2+ years privileged access management and identity governance testing experience
- Proven audit compliance testing experience in regulated environments
- Large-scale automation and integration testing project leadership
Phase 1: QA Foundation
- Establish QA Center of Excellence framework and testing standards documentation
- Design test cases for RBAC stabilization and Confluence inventory validation
Phase 2:
Security Testing Implementation
- Execute comprehensive testing for Dynamic Data Masking and classification policies platform-wide
- Validate Protegrity tokenization implementation across all environments
- Complete end-to-end testing for Service Now and IIQ workflow integrations with secrets management
Phase 3:
Automation Testing & Validation
- Validate complete automation of user and service account provisioning
- Execute comprehensive testing for full infrastructure automation across all environments
- Finalize testing protocols and quality validation frameworks
Stakeholder Collaboration
Key Partners: Info Sec Team (security testing validation), Service Now Team (workflow testing), IIQ Team (identity governance testing), Product Owners (requirements validation), Application Teams (integration testing coordination), Development Teams (test case review)
