Glass Fabrication Associate

$19.00/hr - $23.00/hr

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Glass Fabrication Specialists to join our new Glass Fabrication Department. This is a startup department within a 20+ year old company and a great opportunity. In this role, you will be part of a hands‑on team responsible for cutting, tempering, polishing, and finishing glass products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in glass fabrication and a solid understanding of the processes involved, including operating tempering ovens, cutting tables, and polishing equipment.

• Operate glass fabrication machinery such as tempering ovens, cutting tables, edge polishers, and grinding tools, ensuring precise and safe handling of glass materials.
• Cut and process glass to meet custom specifications, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Polish and finish glass edges to ensure smooth, high‑quality surfaces, ready for client delivery.
• Inspect glass products for defects and ensure compliance with Element Designs’ high standards for clarity, strength, and finish.
• Follow quality control procedures and troubleshoot issues in real‑time to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow within the department.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

• Able to work in a Safety Sensitive position wearing safety gear in a warehouse environment year long
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing demands.
• High attention to detail, with a commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience in glass fabrication environment Highly Desirable.

This is a full‑time hourly position with typical hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Flexibility to work in second shift or later hours highly desirable. Business hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
