** Service Center Mechanic
** Join Xylem, a global water technology leader, and be part of a team solving the world’s most critical water challenges. As a Service Center Mechanic, you’ll work hands-on with industry-leading equipment while building valuable technical skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.## ##
** What Your Day Will Look Like as a Service Center Mechanic:
*** Diagnose, repair, and test Flygt submersible wastewater pumps
* Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
* Use hand and power tools in a professional shop environment
* Operate shop equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes
* Document work accurately in our work-order system
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
* Collaborate with teammates and occasionally support customers

** Position Requirements for Service Center Mechanics:
*** High school diploma or equivalent
* 0–2 years of technical or mechanical experience (1 year preferred)
* Mechanical and electrical aptitude
* Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
* Ability to understand and communicate technical information
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and smart devices
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial shop setting
* Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight stays
