Early Childcare Assistant Teacher at Easterseals Redwood.
Base Pay Range$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

- Collaborate with the ECE lead and other caregivers to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities aligned with individualized child goals and the High Scope curriculum.
- Maintain engaging room arrangements, learning centers, and consistent routines to safely support children’s learning.
- Guide children’s developmental growth through play, sensory experiences, fine/gross motor activities, music/art, and language/communication.
- Document weekly progress toward objectives.
- Complete required documentation such as attendance, goals, service notes, incident reports, and food service forms.
- Implement behavior management programs as directed.
- Attend meetings as assigned.
- Assist with program duties: snack/meal preparation, laundry, cleaning of toys and furniture.
- Educate, instruct, and train parents or guardians regarding their child’s developmental needs.
- Communicate child progress and encourage caregiver involvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Office, internet software, database entry, email and attachments. - Teamwork and collaboration with open communication.

- Experience working with children who have special health care needs.
Work is performed in classrooms, on the grounds, and in the community with children who have special needs or disabilities. The environment is climate‑controlled inside the building and subject to seasonal conditions outdoors. Noise is moderate. Responsibilities require frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and other physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
