Summary

HFA Service Specialists II provides client relationship building partnerships with Advisor(s) and is responsible for the day‑to‑day activities and interactions between the client and Huntington—establishing, documenting, maintaining, and servicing the relationship, including the Digital Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day interactions between the client and Huntington, ensuring documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship, including the Digital Experience.
  • Provide customers with detailed information on specific accounts, building rapport and resolving complex issues.
  • Work directly with the client and/or relationship manager to obtain financial information or documentation needed for new accounts, loans, and servicing requests.
  • Build effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, including branch colleagues.
  • Research and resolve complex problems regarding service activities and operational issues.
  • Assists advisors by processing and maintaining documentation, resolving discrepancies, and preparing for meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare various internal reports, memos, and correspondence.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems, technology, Digital Experience, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience within Investments/Financial Services.
  • Minimum of 9 months of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services.
  • Series 6, Series 63, and Life and Health license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with investment products, including Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners, working independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to change.

Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in‑office and work‑from‑home arrangements.
