The Corporate Marketing Department at Drees Homes is seeking candidates for a Marketing Communications Specialist position. In this role, you will assist the National Marketing Director in executing marketing activities for assigned divisions, acting as a liaison between divisions and in-house graphic design staff to maintain the Drees Homes brand.
Preferred Knowledge and
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing communications and coordination
- Experience with email marketing systems, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Understanding of digital images and basic photo editing
- Experience coordinating marketing activities across multiple divisions
- Strong time and project management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to clearly translate product features into user benefits
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently and in teams
Some responsibilities include:
- Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials
- Building relationships to understand marketing needs and leading planning meetings
- Managing advertising projects and digital marketing tactics
- Creating marketing content for various channels
- Managing website content and online data feeds
- Reviewing and approving advertising creative
- Coordinating entries for home shows and marketing competitions
- Monitoring competitive activity and market factors
- Traveling to divisions as needed
- Performing additional marketing tasks as assigned
