Description:

Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted. Only one holiday can be requested for time off. Shift hours are from 19:00 to 07:30. This position has the potential for block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. Travelers are not allowed. Experience in telemetry nursing is required. Candidates must float between various units as needed. The role will involve supporting patients waiting for a bed in the emergency department and requiring inpatient care.

If there are not enough patients, staff will float to observation units. COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only. Flu vaccine status is unknown. Tattoos and piercings are subject to specific guidelines. Nail length must be limited, and only natural fingernails with acceptable polish are allowed. Scrubs should not have any agency or brand logos.

Navy blue scrubs are required. The unit daily census is 36 patients. The unit will provide interdisciplinary support including various services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. The patient population will primarily consist of adults. Staff will serve in admissions and observation with a focus on caring for patients in need of boarding.
