Swimming, boating, scuba diving, water and cross-country skiing, as well as trophy fishing for bass, trout and other species, are available at several locations throughout the region. The Colorado River provides hundreds of miles of navigable water, while the spectacular views of the Grand Canyon and the beautiful cities of Flagstaff and Sedona are only a few hours away.

Snow skiing is also available within a two- to three-hour drive in the mountains above Flagstaff (to the east) and Las Vegas (to the northwest).
