Overview

Clinical/Registered Dietician -

Clinical Registered Dietitian : FT. Provide current nutritional information and instruction to patients, staff, and physicians. Provide nutritional therapy product information. Work with physicians, nurses, and other department staff in providing quality patient care. May perform quality indicator monitoring.

• Requires:
  Registered Dietitian with current CDR certification.
• Experience with acute clinical care preferred.
• Must be able to understand and communicate the standards and specifics of medical nutrition therapies; communicate to kitchen staff appropriate items and portions per diet order for infant, child, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely with minimal instruction/supervision; ability to multi-task; ability to meet deadlines; ability to provide accurate documentation.
• Ability to communicate knowledge and skills and instruct patients, physicians, staff and members of the community; ability to meet goals with cost effectiveness; and ability to find resources and further education to meet goals of providing optimal nutrition.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and prioritization skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work independently from remote sites.
