Job DescriptionAre you ready to start your accounting career in a dynamic property management environment? We’re looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our branch office team. This entry‑level role offers the opportunity to work with diverse financial activities while supporting the success of our properties and clients. This will be an in‑office full‑time position at our Fort Myers, FL branch location.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other financial activities.
- Update and manage the general ledger as needed.
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely reports.
- Generate and interpret financial statements for management review.
- Support additional accounting tasks as assigned.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and US GAAP principles.
- Familiarity with an Accounting Shared Services Center environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and prioritize data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to resolve conflicts professionally and work collaboratively.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and a proactive team player.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0‑3 years of directly related or closely related experience.
- Be part of a growing property management team that values accuracy and integrity.
