We’re hiring a Junior Site Development Estimator to support our civil estimating team and grow into a full estimator role over time.
This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in heavy civil construction — not just learn software.
Position:
Site Development Junior Estimator
📍 Southwest Florida | Full-Time
What You’ll Do
- Perform quantity takeoffs for site development and civil projects, including:
- Earthwork
- Utilities
- Stormwater
- Roadway and paving
- Assist senior estimators with bid preparation and pricing
- Support subcontractor and vendor outreach
- Help prepare scopes, assumptions, and backup documentation
- Review plans, specs, and drone imagery to understand site conditions
- Operate drones for site capture and estimating support (training provided as needed)
- Organize takeoff files, quantities, and bid documentation
Junior estimators here learn how projects are built — not just how they’re priced.
What We’re Looking For
- Construction management, civil engineering, surveying, or related background (or equivalent field experience)
- Strong interest in estimating and preconstruction
- Comfort working with plans, quantities, and measurements
- Willingness to learn estimating software and systems
- Interest in or experience with drone operations (Part 107 preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
