Job Description & How to Apply Below

Marine Estimating Is a Craft. Master It Here.

At Earth Tech Enterprises, marine construction estimating isn’t just takeoffs and spreadsheets — it’s understanding tides, access, equipment, and how work actually gets built over water.

We’re expanding our marine construction division and are seeking a Marine Construction Estimator who understands marine means and methods and wants to play a key role in shaping how projects are planned and executed.

This is a specialty estimating role — not a civil estimator with occasional marine exposure.

Position:
Marine Construction Estimator

📍 Southwest Florida | Full-Time

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare detailed estimates for marine construction projects, including:
    • Seawalls and bulkheads
    • Docks and over-water structures
    • Marine foundations and piling
    • Dredging and shoreline stabilization
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for marine scopes
  • Develop scopes, assumptions, and exclusions specific to marine work
  • Analyze access constraints, tidal impacts, and equipment logistics
  • Solicit and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Evaluate production rates for marine equipment and crews
  • Collaborate closely with marine operations, project managers, and leadership
  • Support bid strategy, risk review, and final pricing decisions

Marine estimators here don’t just price work — they define how it will be built.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience estimating marine construction or coastal infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of marine means and methods
  • Knowledge of:
    • Barge-based operations
    • Crane access and utilization
    • Pile driving and marine foundations
    • Environmental and permitting constraints
  • Ability to interpret plans, specs, and geotechnical reports
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with operations and leadership teams

Why Earth Tech Enterprises

  • Established and growing marine construction division
  • Long-term regional backlog — limited travel
  • Strong equipment fleet and operational support
  • Opportunity to help shape marine estimating standards
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Company culture built on craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork

Who Thrives Here

  • Estimators who understand the water — not just the drawings
  • Builders who think through access before pricing
  • Professionals who take ownership of their numbers
  • Team players who value accuracy over volume
