Nursing Adjunct Faculty - Part-Time Nursing Instructors

Overview

Nursing Adjunct Faculty - Part-Time Instructor needed to teach within the Nursing program at Rasmussen University, Fort Myers campus. This role offers the opportunity to continue practicing nursing while teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses.

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned. Courses may be on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies and multiple techniques; model appropriate level learning skills and create an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student population.
• Engage students through activities, community building, and student-centered learning; support synchronous learning sessions using live classroom tools.

• Part-time, flexible campus and clinical-based scheduling, generally 10–15 hours per week per course.
• Competitive hourly rates based on course types and schedule; details provided during the hiring process.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing required. Meets requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and campus states.
• 1 year of clinical RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Active RN licensure without encumbrances.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); faculty immunization documentation as applicable.
