Summit Christian School is seeking an energized and faith‑filled Middle School Language Arts Teacher to inspire students to grow as readers, writers, and followers of Christ. The ideal candidate will engage middle school students with creativity, structure, and a biblical worldview—helping them develop strong communication skills and Christlike character.

Job Responsibilities- Teach middle school reading, writing, grammar, and literature with creativity and excellence.
- Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into all instruction and discussions.
- Guide students to grow in both academic skill and spiritual maturity.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and standards.
- Use varied teaching strategies and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Foster a positive classroom culture with clear expectations and strong student relationships.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school‑wide events.
- Model professionalism, integrity, and Christlike character in all relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, English, or a related field (required).
- Teaching certification and classroom experience (preferred).
- Active and growing Christian faith consistent with Summit’s statement of faith.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
Compensation $52,500–$60,000 per year, depending on experience. Competitive pay includes tuition benefits for staff children after the SUFS scholarship.
