Preschool Center Director – Hire Up Recruiting

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Preschool Center Director to join the leadership team at our premier childcare center in Fort Myers (Estero area), FL. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education.

$55,000 – $65,000 per year, plus bonus incentive based on specified metrics.

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
• Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
• Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

• REQUIRED Leadership
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 5-years of experience as a in a licensed childcare center or preschool with at least 130 enrolled students and at least 20 employees
• PREFERRED Teaching
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of Lead Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) or Elementary teaching experience
• PREFERRED Credential:
  Valid Florida Level 2 Director Credential with VPK Endorsement
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
