WhatYou’ll Do
As a Science Teacher in Lee County, you’ll:
- Design engaging, inclusive lesson plans that spark curiosity and support diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate on curriculum planning to meet departmental goals and enhance academic achievement.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Use technology and hands‑on activities to bring scientific concepts to life.
- Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and tailor instruction to help every student thrive.
- Partner with colleagues, families, and specialists to support student success.
- Maintain classroom order with fairness, consistency, and empathy.
- Support school policies, student wellness, and the ethical standards of the teaching profession.
- Actively participate in school initiatives, professional development, and improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida teaching certificate (or out‑of‑state equivalent in the appropriate content area)
