Position Specific Description

Under limited guidance, this position directs a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in power plant overhauls and maintenance. The individual will lead internal and external resources to execute maintenance work with direct accountability for safety, environment, quality, schedule, and cost. The ideal candidate applies rigor and lean improvement mindset. The candidate has strong technical knowledge of power plant equipment and is skilled at resolving technical issues, including unplanned scope.

Work closely with Supervisors and Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for execution. Preferred: industrial experience within Electrical and I&C and an Engineering degree.

Up to 40% travel required. Base location:
Plant Fort Myers, FL.

Job Overview

Direct a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance or plant maintenance. Lead internal and external resources to deliver certainty for assigned major maintenance activities or plant maintenance, achieving objectives for safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.

• Streamline activities through lean maintenance concepts and standardized processes.
• Develop leadership skills to assume greater accountability for internal employee development and performance management.
• Lead cost and schedule functions under general guidance, in accordance with corporate financial policies.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Supervisor/Management experience 0+ years.
