Control Systems Programmer – BCI Technologies
U.S. Water Services Corporation/BCI is a fast‑paced, rapidly expanding water and wastewater utility organization headquartered in New Port Richey, FL. The Control Systems Programmer will design and create submittal packages for projects, including reading and understanding project plans and specifications, writing a Theory of Operation, developing PLC and SCADA code, creating user manuals, and functional testing procedures. Programs will be built using a PFD‑indexed document.
The Systems Programmer will also visit the field to test installed systems and make any necessary programming changes.
- Understand water and wastewater theory of operations
- Read and interpret project specifications and drawings
- Program Allen‑Bradley PLCs (RSLogix, Studio 5000, etc.)
- Program Modicon PLCs (Proworx, Unity, etc.)
- Program SCADA systems (Citect
SCADA, Rockwell, iFix, etc.) - Use Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Build and modify PDF files
