Project Administrator CEI – DRMP – Fort Myers, FL – $70,000.00–$
Join DRMP as a Project Administrator CEI. Responsible for leading the CEI team on a day‑to‑day basis. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with a thorough understanding of FDOT construction engineering and inspection processes, are required. Must work well in a team environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

- Makes and checks engineering computations.
- Prepares meeting agendas and leads meetings.
- Prepares project documentation.
- Material sampling and testing.
- Verification of quality control.
- Coordinates and manages inspection and project staff.
- Assists with preparation of monthly progress and final estimate packages.
- Interprets plans and specifications for contractors and discusses deviations to ensure compliance.
- Civil Engineering degree plus 2 years of engineering experience in construction of major road and bridge structures or 8 years of responsible and relevant engineering experience for non‑degree holders, with at least 2 of those in major road or bridge construction.
- FDOT Advanced MOT.
- CTQP Final Estimates Level II.
- Valid driver’s license with approved driving history.
- Attend and pass CTQP QC Manager Course.
- Complete Critical Structures Construction Issues self‑study course.
- Position requires minimum of 40 hours a week.
- Receives general instructions and exercises initiative and independent judgment.
- Directs and assigns tasks to inspectors and assists in all project phases.
- Responsible for progress and final estimates throughout project duration.
