Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Spa Massage Therapist.

We are currently looking for a passionate, talented massage therapist for our high-end spa and clientele. The job is part-time with the opportunity to become full-time. Must have an active Florida Massage License.

Job Duties Responsibilities:
  • Provides excellent service for guests by maintaining the Marriott Brand standards.
  • Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services.
  • Reviews Health History forms carefully and assesses contraindications of the guest that may prevent service from taking place.
  • Maintains the highest level of industry knowledge and has a complete understanding of all spa services, products, and retail.
  • Performs all treatments on the service menu based on current certifications.
  • Suggests to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa and salon. Recommends products for home use.
  • Begins and ends all treatments on time. Maintains professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Works assigned schedule or coordinates coverage by completing ‘shift coverage’ forms.
  • Must arrive on time for their assigned shifts. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures. Responsible for setting up treatment area, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all equipment, treatment room & linens for service use on a daily basis. The provider's break room should be cleaned weekly.
  • Informs the Lead Provider Supervisor of product needs. All orders must be given by the 1st of the month.
  • Reports any incident or accident to the Spa Supervisors or Spa Director.
  • Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to the guests. Answers guest’s questions knowledgeably and professionally.
  • Works closely with therapists, support staff, and leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Completes other duties assigned by the Spa Director.
  • Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
