Are you a detail-driven, collaborative, and safety-focused pharmacy professional looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple hospital systems? Lee Sar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support daily operations within our Central Pharmacy Distribution facility, serving as a crucial partner to our health system members across Southwest Florida.
In this essential role, you'll help lead safe medication distribution, support automated dispensing technologies, guide technicians, and ensure compliance with Florida pharmacy regulations—all while contributing to service excellence for our hospital partners.
What You’ll Do Lead Daily Pharmacy Operations- Support purchasing, receiving, Pyxis replenishment, order validation, and repackaging workflows.
- Serve as pharmacist-in-charge in the Director’s absence.
- Validate pre-packaged medications and oversee inventory processes to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including DEA, FDA, and Department of Health requirements.
- Apply performance standards, support quality improvement initiatives, and help maintain regulatory readiness.
- Promote safe medication handling practices in alignment with organizational protocols.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure productivity and accuracy.
- Provide training, guidance, and clear communication to foster teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
- Partner with internal teams and member hospitals to support seamless distribution operations.
- Identify and address workflow gaps contributing to medication errors.
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize efficiency, safety, and service delivery.
- Encourage continuous learning and best-practice adoption across the pharmacy team.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) from an accredited program. - Active Florida Registered Pharmacist license (required).
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy or consolidated distribution environment (preferred).
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, highly collaborative environment.
