Field Technician I – Naples/Fort Myers

Technology Lab is looking for an onsite, remote Tier 1 Field Technician to provide technical support for clients in the Naples and Fort Myers, FL area. The position is exempt, full‑time, Monday through Friday 8‑5, with occasional extra hours on projects or emergencies.

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems, including network hardware, access points, projectors, doc cams, and charging carts.
• Diagnose minor A/V issues such as HDMI, projectors, doc cams.
• Handle help desk tickets and escalated issues to higher tier techs as needed.
• Document client interactions and resolutions and communicate status to team.
• Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 technicians to resolve complex issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1‑2 years of technical support experience.
• Technical knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Macs, PCs, and Chromebooks.
• Knowledge of network hardware, including switches, racks, firewalls, patch panels, and fiber.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for long periods.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.

• Availability onsite at clients 70% of the time and remote 30% of the time.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Participation in an on‑call rotation.

Regular 8‑5, Monday‑Friday schedule. Company car and cell phone provided for work use. Company culture values work‑life balance.
