HYBRID Employment Attorney

An exclusive employment & personal injury firm in Fort Myers is seeking an Employment Attorney to work remotely until the office is operational. Then, the candidate is expected to go onsite 2-3x/week but still have the flexibility to work a partial remote schedule. Firm handles consultation and complex litigation including work in both state and federal court. We are entrepreneurs as well as attorneys.

The successful applicant must have both the spirit and the intellect to succeed on both a business level and as a skilled attorney.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, JUST A FL BAR REQUIRED! New attorneys with 0 or under 3 years of law experience in any area other than family, FPP, or criminal law welcomed to apply!

Qualifications:

• Must be a member of the Florida bar.

• Candidates must be in Ft. Myers, FL or willing to relocate to Ft. Myers, FL soon.
• Strong law school academic record is a plus
• Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to write complex complaints, memos, motions, discovery, and other pleadings in state and federal court

• Excellent knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and the local Rules of the Middle District of Florida

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Must be organized.

• Must be detailed.

• Ability to prioritize matters and multitask

• Unmatched work ethic with a competitive desire to succeed individually and as a team.

• Superior technology skills required:
  Office products, various cloud technologies, etc.

• Must have the ability to touch type -- very fast -- without reviewing keyboard

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year (dependent upon experience)
