Paralegal Position at Smith & Eulo Law Firm -Sarasota​/Tampa

Overview

Smith & Eulo Law Firm is looking for an energetic, bilingual (Spanish-English) Paralegal to join our Criminal Defense and Immigration team in the Sarasota office. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, anticipate needs, and excel at prioritization.

• Simultaneously assist 3-4 attorneys
• Perform legal research
• Draft basic motions (notice of appearance)
• Coordinate hearings
• Manage attorney's calendars
• Work on several cases at the time
• Be willing to attend community service events
• Other duties as assigned

• College Degree in Paralegal Studies preferred
• Candidates with the right legal experience may be considered
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Law setting (Criminal Law Preferred)
• Experience managing 3 or more attorneys simultaneously
• Experience working in a corporate setting
• Advanced writing and research skills
• Ample experience with e-portal system
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a MUST
• Must be a team player
• Work well under pressure
• Be extremely detailed and organized
• High integrity
