General Liability Litigation Attorney

National well established AV rated full service law firm is seeking an General Liability Litigation Attorney to join their General Liability Litigation Defense department. The practice is focused in the areas of Automobile Liability (PD/BI/UM), Civil Litigation, Coverage & Declaratory Judgment Actions, First and Third Party Property and Casualty Claims, General Civil Litigation, General Liability Defense Litigation, Liability Defense, Negligent Security, Premises Liability, SIU/Suspicious & Fraudulent Claims, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Liability and Wrongful Death.

This position is full time and onsite at the firms’ Ft. Myers, FL office.

Associate duties include the opportunity to direct and lead files, provide initial analysis, develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions, attend hearings and negotiate settlements. Associates will also be able to assist with and lead trials. Successful candidates will have defense experience in General Liability. Ideal candidates are those who want to work as part of a strong team, are willing to make a commitment, and are looking for a long-term place to build skills and experience, all while having a rewarding career.

Qualifications:

• Must a Florida Bar license in good standing
• Must have 5+ years of General Liability defense experience
• Must have substantial General Liability defense first chair trial experience
• Ability to work independently and also be a team player
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinker with above-average problem-solving skills, strong organizational and time-management skills
