In this role, you'll lead and develop high‑performing teams, ensure safe and efficient operations, and drive the standards that make our plants the best in the industry. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy mentoring others, and take pride in delivering exceptional results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You’ll Do Lead & Develop Teams

  • Build a strong team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration across production and delivery teams to achieve operational excellence.
Drive Operational Excellence
  • Oversee batching operations, yard maintenance, and driver performance across multiple locations.
  • Ensure 100% on‑time delivery, high driver productivity, and maximum plant uptime.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce performance to meet customer and production needs.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, payroll approvals, and daily KPI tracking.
Champion Safety & Environmental Standards
  • Lead all safety initiatives and ensure full compliance with company and regulatory programs.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings, routine inspections, and corrective action follow‑ups.
  • Oversee storm‑water, spill prevention, and environmental compliance requirements.
Maintain Equipment & Facilities
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment regularly and prioritize repairs.
  • Ensure plants, equipment, and safety systems are clean, functional, and well‑maintained.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the Regional Manager.
Ensure Quality & Product Integrity
  • Perform and document daily product testing.
  • Maintain DOT‑compliant stockpiles and calibrated moisture probes.
  • Partner closely with the Quality Control team on mix design and product consistency.
Oversee Daily Operations
  • Batch concrete according to mix design and job specifications.
  • Manage raw material inventory and coordinate orders with the Customer Service Center.
  • Handle plant maintenance, returned concrete procedures, and all received payments.
What You Bring
  • 3‑5 years of Ready Mix Concrete experience (required).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and coach diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of local geography, company products, and industry standards.
  • Experience supervising staff (union experience a plus).
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve problems proactively.
  • Willingness to work 10‑12 hour shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to walk, climb, lift, and perform hands‑on plant tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency (batching systems, billing, communication tools).
  • CDL Class A or B may be required.
  • DOT certification (or willingness to obtain).
