Job Type: Full Time.

We are in need of a Production Helper at several of our facilities. In this role you will perform helper’s work involving production operations and processing such as positioning lightweight materials, feeding mechanisms for continuous processing, or positioning and/or removing materials to assist the Machine Operator, supplying containers, light raw materials, or performing other similar work.

• Inspect, clean, and scrape metal in preparation for fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Assist machine operator by running machine after set‑up.
• Assist operator by placing or removing finished parts from machine.
• Load, stack, and transport stock, tools, dies as needed or directed.
• Inspect and package parts.
• Follow instructions on work procedures.
• Perform clean‑up duties as needed and truck scrap from work area.
• Assist fellow employees as needed and directed.
• Use PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

• One to three months of related experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self‑motivation, and ability to multi‑task.
• Good finger and hand dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time. This position involves a lot of bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Ability to understand work orders and follow instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow DSF safety policies and procedures.
