Resurgence Brewing Co. (RBC) and Black Bird Cider Works (BCW) believes that enjoying a well-crafted brew or cider is an experience in itself. We're looking for a talented, innovative full-time craft beer brewer for our new Ft. Myers, FL brewery! This position will report to the Production Manager and COO and manage all aspects of the beer production process including but not limited to: maintaining quality and safety standards, cleanliness, process efficiency, adhering to the production schedule, managing day-to-day operations of the brewery and supervising and training others as needed.

This individual contributes to the company's strategic goals to promote and provide exceptional brews that differentiate our brands.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Annual salary is $44,000 to $53,000 based on experience.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift with the occasional evening or weekend as operations dictate.

• Maintains and helps support Resurgence ERP System
• Oversees Florida Production Brewery as the main point of contact
• Oversees department staff, scheduling, training, and support
• In conjunction with Management and HR, assists with interviewing, hiring, disciplines, separations and evaluations as necessary
• Supports ingredient and material purchasing as necessaary
• Adheres to established budgets
• Collaborates with partners, other businesses, and the like in order to promote company brews and demonstrate innovation
• Implements and maintains laboratory and quality control procedures
• Establishes and monitors work‑flow processes to ensure little to no waste of materials in the production process
• Oversees sensory evaluations and taste panels

• Associate degree, or equivalent experience, in Brewmaster, Brewery Operations Management or related field
• Experience in brewing beer (commercially preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a beer production line
• Experience in a supervisory or management role highly desired
• Proficiency with basic computer programs; familiary with ERP systems a plus
• Experience in food production, mechanical and/or engineering
• Experience or willingness to train to operate a forklift
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Familiarity of manufacturing standards and safety protocols, OSHA knowledge desired
• Team‑focused attitude, patient, supportive and takes care with product and machinery
• Ability to work independently
• An innovative, creative thinkiner with a passion for craft beer
• Ability to bend, crouch, crawl, stand, sit and maneuver as needed as well as manual dexteritry
• Flexible and amenable to the various needs while establishing a new brewing site; able to work as needed, including weekends as projects and needs dictate
• Must be at least 21 years of age
