Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

• State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level‑III NICU
• The health system has two facilities and 7,000 deliveries per year
• Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level‑I low‑risk delivery service
• Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level‑III NICU
• All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high‑risk delivery service coverage
• In‑house call and 24‑hour NNP coverage
• Level‑I coverage includes well‑baby care and back‑up coverage from home
• Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
• We value a team‑approach toward care in a developmentally sensitive and family‑centered unit

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
• Minimum of a master’s degree
