Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour

As an Orthopedic Registered Nurse , you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality, and personalized care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries, joint replacements, fractures, and other orthopedic conditions. You will coordinate and provide nursing care using the full nursing process assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation while ensuring that care aligns with clinical best practices and all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and document comprehensive nursing care with a focus on orthopedic needs such as mobility, pain management, wound care, and rehabilitation readiness
  • Prioritize and respond to patient needs using strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical judgment
  • Educate patients and families on post-op care, mobility support, and recovery goals
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective care
  • Contribute to clinical decision-making as a clinician, educator, advocate, and team leader
  • Support performance improvement efforts and use data to drive better patient outcomes

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required;
Associates or Bachelors preferred.

Experience Requirements: Experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

Certification Requirements: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

License Requirements: Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
