Schedule

12-hour evening shift, 11 AM to 11 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at a Level 2 trauma facility. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to high acuity emergency departments and have experience managing complex patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be expected to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system, Epic.
• Assist in various emergency procedures as necessary under the supervision of the physician.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in similar sized healthcare facilities.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC.
• Experience with Epic EMR is helpful.
• Travel experience preferred.
