American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit specializing in Ortho Spine, requiring 2 years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

• Work in a 36-bed Ortho Spine Progressive Care Unit
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented on profile, or 5 years of acute care experience required if not
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Prior travel nurse experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
• Candidates must not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved after offer
• No block scheduling requests accommodated
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote training and an in-person visit for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Candidates are expected to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commute from a distant home
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
