American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU and cardiac experience, with night shifts and a strict 50-mile radius rule.

• Cardiac Med Unit within a progressive care setting, 36-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Epic EMR used
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Nursing degree from an accredited program or 5 years of experience required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents include SSN card, DL, and COVID/flu records
• Full demographic information required for consideration, including address, email, full DOB, SSN, and RN license number

• Travelers are expected to integrate with and function as core staff
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced, and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• No block scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from elsewhere
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote onboarding, followed by an in-person visit to the facility for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday before the start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
