American Traveler is hiring an experienced Progressive Care RN for a Trauma PCU position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.
Details- Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
- 40-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
- Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
- Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Required documents for consideration: SS card, driver's license, COVID and flu vaccination records
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment eligibility
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as it will not be approved after start
- No block scheduling permitted
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote training and an in-person badge/t
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience and education requirements
