American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

• Progressive Care Unit, a 46-bed unit spanning two campuses (4E and 4W)
• Patient ratio of 5 to 6:1
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, including to other campuses, PCU units, and ED Hold
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented, or 5 years of experience required in lieu
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and be engaged with patients and unit staff
• Travelers are typically first to float, with high likelihood of floating to sister campuses located 15-20 minutes away
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of address and property records
• Candidates must not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission or offer
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Hard document submission deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
• Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
