Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of PACU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• PACU experience must include ICU or ER background
• Degree accreditation verification required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation verification
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred

• 24-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting
• Common diagnoses include orthopedic and general surgery cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 9A to 9P, 3 shifts per week
• Call required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced
• Candidates must not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved after offer
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with required in-person attendance for badge and
• Must be flexible and a team player, as floating is a key part of the role
