American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Trauma Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Work in a 40-bed Trauma PCU unit
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling requests accepted

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2+ years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Documents required for consideration: SSN, DL, full DOB, COVID/Flu documentation

• Deliver progressive/trauma care nursing within a collaborative unit culture where travelers are expected to function as core staff
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and in-person badge/
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront, as requests will not be approved after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documents
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of local residency and property ownership
• Candidates must be securing full-time housing in the area, not commuting from distant locations
