American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring FL or compact licensure and 2 years of PCU experience.

• Progressive Care Unit setting, 46-bed unit across 4E and 4W
• Patient ratio of 5 to 6:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, including to other campuses, PCU units, and ED Hold
• Travelers are expected to float first, with possible assignments to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• Uses Epic EMR
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be verifiable, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and engage actively with patients and unit team
• Must be helpful, flexible, and a team player on the unit
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with required in-person badge/ at the facility
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility, with strict verification of residency
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documentation
