American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Work across two Progressive Care/GI SPCU units (3E/3W)
• 36-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers floating first and potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are fully integrated into the unit and expected to perform as core staff
• Facility places strong emphasis on candidates being flexible, team-oriented, and willing to float
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation followed by an in-person visit to the facility for badge and
• All required documentation must be finalized by the Monday before the start date, with no exceptions for pending items
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate, with strict enforcement of this rule
• Local, full-time housing in the area is expected; candidates commuting from outside the region on a shift-only basis are discouraged
