American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and Florida or compact licensure.

• Work in a 36-bed Ortho Spine progressive care unit
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR:
  Epic
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float and possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or 5 years of acute care experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Required documents for consideration: SS card, DL, COVID and Flu documentation

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• All RTO must be submitted at time of consideration, as facility will not approve RTO afterward
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, but candidates must be in the area on Friday for badge/p
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documents
• Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and prepared to secure full-time housing in the area
