American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of neuro experience and FL or compact RN license.

• Neuro PCU, a 52-bed unit with 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratios
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required to both stepdown and PCU sides of the Neuro floor
• Possible floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• Travelers are expected to float first

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neuro nursing experience required
• Experience with Cardene and Cleviprex required
• Ability to read EKG rhythms required
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program on profile, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation verification
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to consideration and will not be approved afterward
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation followed by an in-person visit for badge/
• Candidates must be flexible, team-oriented, and willing to float as needed
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
