American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience with neuro specialty background and NIHSS certification.
Details- Neuro ICU setting within a hospital
- Patient ratio of 2:1
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
- EMR:
Epic - Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
- No on-call requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with neuro specialty experience required
- Degree accreditation must be verifiable, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel positioning, with strict enforcement of this rule
- Candidates may not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
- Must secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer and will not be accepted afterward
- Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and
- Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
- Travelers are expected to integrate fully into unit culture and function as core staff
