American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Medical/Surgical ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Medical/Surgical ICU setting
• Patient ratios of 2:1
• Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, kidney failure, COPD, CHF, and MI
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Documentation required for consideration: address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and RN license number

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Medical/Surgical ICU environment
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and embrace unit culture
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person badge/t on that day even though orientation is remote
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront, as the facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and may not own or cosign property within that radius
• No block scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates should be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from a distant home
