American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience with neuro specialty background and NIHSS certification.

• Work in the Neuro ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with neuro specialty experience required
• Degree accreditation must be verifiable, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required

• Provide critical care nursing to neuro ICU patients as part of a collaborative care team
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully and function as core staff
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel assignment eligibility
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to confirmation; no RTO approvals after start
• Orientation begins on a Friday, requiring in-person attendance for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
