American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Medical/Surgical ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Medical/Surgical ICU setting within a hospital
• Common patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, kidney failure, COPD, CHF, and MI
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• 12-hour day shifts, three shifts per week
• Epic EMR used
• Floating required, with travelers floating first and potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented on profile, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Required documents include SSN, DL, full DOB, and COVID/Flu documentation

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical ICU setting as part of the core care team
• Travelers are expected to integrate into unit culture and function as core staff
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must live outside a strict 50-mile radius of the facility, with address verification and property checks conducted
• All RTO must be submitted prior to start, as RTO requests will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documents
• First-time travelers may be considered
