American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma SICU position requiring 2+ years of Trauma ICU experience and tight 2:1 patient ratios.

• Trauma Surgical ICU setting
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required
• Experience managing critical drips and medications including Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, and Nitro
• Nursing degree accreditation must be verifiable, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Function as part of the core staff within a trauma-focused unit
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced
• Full-time local housing in the area expected; commuting from outside the region is discouraged
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and will not be approved afterward
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, followed by an in-person visit for badge and
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered if other qualifications are strong
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions
