American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU and cardiac experience along with active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Cardiac Med Progressive Care Unit with 36 beds
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Nursing degree from accredited program or 5 years of experience required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Documentation required for consideration: address, email, full DOB, SSN, and RN license number

• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
• Candidates must be willing to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commute from a distant permanent residence
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote training and an in-person visit for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Candidates are expected to integrate into unit culture and function as core staff
